For many females, the menopause is an unpleasant period of time. It starts the end of baby producing possibilities and is often seen as a new start.
The change of life has been viewed to bring a number of bad side effects, such as hot flushes, night sweats and depression. It affects many women more than others.
There are treatments for this problem, such as hormone replacement therapy; however, they may be dangerous. There are said to be a variation of supplements and products that might help decrease the symptoms of a miserable menopause.

drying effects of menopause.
- Black Cohosh reported to help control and deal with mood
changes of menopause. It is also said to be excellent for
alleviating night sweats and flushes.
- Sage is believed to be very good for decreasing night sweats
and hot flushes.
-St Johns Wort has been reported to be beneficial for treating
depression. However, if already on prescribed medication it
has been recommended acquire medical advice before using St
Johns Wort.
- Agnus Castus (Acne
treatment) is suggested to help in regulating fluctuating
hormone levels.
- Vervian is an herbal remedy, which, it is thought, may relieve
stress, insomnia and headaches.
- It has been advised that one should consume foods that are
abundant in Vitamin E, such as oily fish and seeds. However,
Vitamin E supplements may also be taken, as they are suggested
good for vaginal health.
- Omega- 7 is from the sea buckthorn plant. It is considered
to feature moisturising and healing properties.
- Geranium is said to have an uplifting, comforting fragrance
that features a balancing effect on hormones.
- Cypress is believed to be effective for easing hot flushes
and heavy periods, which become more common during the pre-menopause.
